Today is a new day and a new week. As I began to pray regarding things of the week God reminded me to stay focused on today. Mondays are like Saturdays use to be when I was in the educational world. I don’t do any counseling on Mondays. I stay home and act retired. However, there are some support items I want to do with Kathy today that we’ve talked about but haven’t completed. Today is to be that day.

I love how diligent and faithful God is. His diligence is accompanied with such grace too. Each time anymore that I want to rush into something He gently reminds me that He wants to have what I’m rushing to do look like Him and not end up looking like me. In this case, God is wanting what I do today to look just like Him in meeting Kathy’s continued recovery from the stroke. I will include her as He is wanting me to do and not jump ahead doing it more on my own. God wants to be part of every aspect in our lives and He doesn’t let me forget that. How good God is!
