Today is two days past Easter Sunday. The beauty of Christ’s work on the Cross is fully available and evident for those who have grabbed ahold of it. Shame is gone, victory is won and Christ is on the throne of each one’s life. This is all very true, but living this victory shame free is a daily commitment that needs us to awaken to our own needs and the needs of others. New people to this awareness need ample support and encouragement. Old people to this awareness need ample support and encouragement. We just need each other and to be very honest with each other from this day forward.

I don’t care how old I am or will get, the one thing that seems to never change is the temptation to step back into sin. I use to be in such secret that I had no idea this was true for all mankind. Today I know the truth of this–God did give all of mankind choice. (I’d like to think that was God’s one mistake, but I do know that is not the case). Each and every day we need to make the choice to choose God’s Way for this day. In addition to this, we need to have someone else we trust to hold us accountable to our commitment. In return we can do the same for someone who trusts us.

The days of secret and isolation regarding our struggles in life need to be behind us. These things are tools of Satan and God wants us to be open to one another so we can find strength and support which He provides as we openly share with Him and the ones He gives to us as friends and support. Amazingly, we find ourselves being asked for support when we are open ourselves to seeking it. Lets be each others support system and let God be glorified!
